The Presidio Chapel at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park is a faithful reconstruction of Santa Barbara’s first church. Using authentic materials and building techniques of early California’s Spanish Colonial architecture, it is a unique space for your wedding, christenings, funerals, community gatherings, lectures, concerts, and church services.
Casa de la Guerra is an icon of Santa Barbara’s Spanish-Mexican heritage and offers one of the most charming outdoor courtyards in all of Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to offer the central courtyard for parties, receptions, concerts, festivals, fundraisers, plays, and more.
SBTHP recently completed the restoration of the historic Alhecama Theatre, which has had continuous community use since its construction as the Pueblo Theatre in 1925. The beautiful interior, with its recently restored original oak floors, stage, and a mural by American artist Ross Dickenson, is an ideal location for weddings, lectures, social gatherings, and theatre events.
The Presidio Orchard at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park is one of the hidden gems of Santa Barbara. Rustic and out in the open, the Orchard showcases the old-time feel of the city. The Orchard is ideal for wedding receptions, gatherings, and social events.
The Pico Adobe was built in the mid-nineteenth century by retired Presidio soldier Buenaventura Pico and his wife, Anita. The historic adobe is a comfortable and atmospheric location for business meetings, presentations, banquets, or small gatherings.
